Labourer - Hard & Soft Landscape Construction
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Labourer for retaining walls, paving stone installation, hard landscaping.
- Preparation and laying of sod, plant material, shrubs and trees, soft landscaping.
- Spotting for equipment operator while excavating on site.
- Perform setup and cleanup tasks on job sites.
- Operating small packers, wheelbarrow, shoveling, raking and lifting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.
Requirements:
· 2 years of hard and soft landscape construction experience.
· Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
· Eager to learn, be positive, take direction, have pride in work, and arrive on time.
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, carpenter, carpenters assistant, concrete formworks, cribbing, concrete, concrete finisher, landscaping, labour, general labour, skilled labour, masonry, brick layer, stone work, stone mason, renovations, handyman, roofing, framing, fencing, farming, equipment, equipment operator, equipment maintenance, equipment moving, horticulture, tree planting, load & unload, irrigation, moving, excavation, bobcat, skid steer, mini dig, truck and trailer, swamping, warehouse, industrial, steel worker, tradesman, is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
