Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of brands i.The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, electrical systems, and the use of hand tools and power tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery in a dynamic environment, ensuring operational safety and efficiency across our facilities.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on forklifts,
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues .
- Conduct repairs including welding, assembly, and replacement of parts using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy machinery for testing purposes after repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all maintenance activities
- Assist in troubleshooting all brands of forklifts and Electric pallet jacks.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and equipment reliability
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with forklifts or automotive .
- Strong mechanical knowledge with background in automotive repair, electrical systems,
- Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and Experience
- Capable of performing heavy lifting safely and working in physically demanding environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance
- Prior mechanic experience or technical training related to heavy machinery is highly desirable
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with internal teams or external clients regarding equipment issues
Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
