We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver timely and efficient service
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation
- Follow proper food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
