Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As an RMT, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health history to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer various massage techniques tailored to individual client preferences and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans, expected outcomes, and any necessary follow-up care.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the treatment area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Exceptional communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the client experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
