Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Counter Sales person to join our automotive dealership team. Our Counter Sales person ensures our customers are our highest priority. They deliver exceptional customer service and act as a key point of contact for customer. Their knowledge of parts inventory items enables them to more efficiently serve a large number of customers while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
Responsibilities:
- Answer calls and respond to customer product inquiries
- Provide quotes and product information to customers
- Sources part for customers by contacting suppliers and other dealerships
- Enter orders and customer information into the CRM and ordering systems
- Communicate lead times of orders to customers and manage their expectation s
- Follow up on quotes that have been sent to customers
- Maintain and update customer contact records
- Stays current on technical information regarding new & current products
Qualifications:
- Prior parts advisor/counter sales experience required
- Customer service focus & ability to build relationships
- Ability to manage workload in a high-sales volume environment
- Basic computer knowledge: keyboarding, data entry, internet
- Strong numbers orientation, attention to detail
- A team player, shows initiative and a willingness to learn
- PBS and Collision Centre experience is an asset
