Reporting to the CEO & President at Pure Integrative Pharmacy, the Director of Pharmacy Operations will be an individual with a passion for healthcare as a business and a demonstrated track record of optimizing pharmacy related operations. This is a critical role that will make an impact on our business by optimizing our product and service offerings and enhancing our pharmacy patient experience. The role will also include mentoring colleagues to enhance their skills, fostering accountability to achieve desired results, and thereby ensuring a positive interactive experience for both customers and Pure Pharmacy employees.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Retail Leadership & Team Development:
· Proactively represent the voice of “Integrative Pharmacy” as it challenges the industry status quo leading innovations in upholding the highest standards of quality and value-driven customer experience and patient care.
· Promote the confidence in and credibility of our brand, by expressing our values, mission, and vision within every aspect of this directional role.
· Conduct regular store visits to educate, coach, and empower each pharmacy team manager and their members to reach higher levels of store performance.
· Work with Human Resources on required new staff placement, coaching, training, and key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and results-driven achievement across all the pharmacies, including yearly performance reviews for all Pharmacy Managers.
Business Strategy:
· Provide direction within the entire Head Office Team to fulfill any needed communication and ensure all business development strategies, performance targets, practitioner outreach efforts, and negotiation criteria are held in place.
· Initiate and uphold professional and strategic relationships with key practitioners and primary healthcare stakeholders
· Effectively implement professionally oriented products and services across all the pharmacies.
· Design and directing all online strategies and website development that reflect our professionally oriented and value-driven customer experience and engagement expectations.
· Promote vaccination clinics across all Pure stores and support pharmacy managers in their efforts to deliver these services.
Operational Excellence:
· Overseeing new store openings – specifically the licensing process with the City, the College of Pharmacists, the Ministry of Health, and third-party insurance providers
· Coordinate effective pharmacy procedures and systems required for greater efficiency and results-driven productivity
· Ensure the responsible identification of all regulatory, compliance and patient safety issues relating to the pharmacies is upheld to the highest industry standards.
· Proactively provide direction for effective strategies to further business development goals, budget adherence, and sales target achievement.
· Effectively monitoring and ensure reporting for all third-party insurance providers.
· Ensure final approval of all Pharmacy related vendors and their established trade-related terms and conditions, including product selection across the pharmacies.
· Manage pharmacy-related inventory, purchasing practices and pricing strategies.
· Oversee the scheduling for pharmacy managers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants to ensure optimal staffing at all stores.
Required Skills and Experience:
· At least 6 -7 years of experience with Management in the Retail Pharmaceutical Industry
· Pharmacy license and be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists.
· An MBA would be considered an advantage.
· Must have a thorough understanding of the Pharmacy Industry and Retail Landscape
· Must possess a thorough understanding of Retail Pharmacy Operations

Pay: $120,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
