What is the opportunity?
This position drives programs of the Contact Centre Technology group for the development, delivery, security, and maintenance of technology solutions. Leads, directs and oversees activities on planning, delivery and implementation to ensure program strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope and budget.
What will you do?
Serve as a single point of accountability for oversight and direct signoff on the most significant programs
Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with Sponsors, Stakeholders, RBC business and T&O partners
Champion strong program governance and execution assurance processes
Ensure risk assessments are completed and that contingency plans are identified and executed
Prepare program roadmap, project, and/or implementation plans to align with executive approval
Manage overall program financials and tracks value for effective decision making
Work closely with T&O Application Development Senior Directors Business teams, project managers and 3rd party providers to enhance efficiency and successfully deliver multiyear programs on time
Lead (manage performance, rewards, and recognition), manage and mentor a globally distributed team
Establish and drive strategic and tactical initiatives and plans while providing superior client experience and strengthening relationship within project teams
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Vast experience building and managing an enterprise size organization with emphasis on large programs or multiple projects with multiple interfaces and/or 3rd parties
Proven experience leading and successfully delivering programs with very high level of value (benefit/cost), complexity and uncertainty
Expert level Influencing, Negotiating, Communication, Presentation and Facilitation skills
Proven experience of program and project plan development & management, scheduling methodology, waterfall and iterative methodologies, program and project metrics, analysis, and status reporting
Demonstrated change management capabilities, including enablement, and stakeholdering
Innate people management skills related to: talent management process (recruitment/selection, performance management, performance development/coaching, reward/ recognition)
Nice-to-have
Business knowledge related to: Contact Centre business and/or technologies
Financial Technology experience
Advanced knowledge of the wealth management sector
Business knowledge of portfolio management preferred
