Galactica Logistics Inc is a transportation company located in Delta,BC. We urgently need a Forklift Operator for the following duties.
Description:
- Functionally responsible for safe handling and storage of material and the safe operation of a forklift.
- Load and unload bundles/skids onto trucks (various shapes and sizes) - Stack bundles/skids on the floor
- Comply with Customer Service requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Keenly aware of any safety or environmental hazards
- Good interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a positive and approachable style
- Must be dependable, punctual and flexible
- Be able to work with minimum supervision or in a group
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must have 2-3 years experience as a Forklift operator preferably with a trucking company.
- Must have valid forklift license
- Must be able to work overtime if and when required
