Position
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of the business, as assigned by the Store Manager. They are accountable for supporting all store operations and functions and they are responsible for the customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager trains, develops and creates space for others to achieve results.
Responsibilities
- Encourage people development through our core values
- Deliver continuous training to motivate the store team
- Manage team performance with ongoing coaching
- Help to proactively recruit people who are aligned with our culture and brand vision
- Demonstrate leadership on the sales floor by setting the standards around product knowledge, customer experience and brand image
- Lead, coach and provide timely feedback around sales plans and key performance indicators
- List, delegate and manage team responsibilities within all areas of the business
- Support the Store manager in the overall store recruitment strategy and and is responsible for developing our talent bench
- Ensure standards are consistently executed and utilize company tools to better serve the customer
- Ensure supervisors and stylists clearly understand and meet expectations
- Be accountable for the monthly strategies and the operations
- Represent the BonLook brand: reflect company values and brand image at all times
- Meet store sales goals
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a management or relevant experience
- Customer service and sales experience
- Experience in retail business (an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates a creative approach towards customers, management and complex situations
- Demonstrates leadership and is a team player
- Offers courteous and professional customer service
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Ability to work alone and within a team
- Ability to prioritize emergencies in daily runnings of the business
- Ability to understand sales targets
- Ability to actively coach a team
- Focused on problem solving and solution
- Flexible availability (days, evenings and weekends)
Working conditions
- Permanent full-time position
- Must be available days, evenings and weekends
