About Us
Sauble Falls Tent & Trailer Park is a family campground located near Sauble Beach and Sauble Falls. We are looking for a reliable, hard-working team member to help with outdoor maintenance, campground upkeep, cleaning, and general guest support throughout the camping season.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying busy, and taking pride in keeping the campground clean, safe, and well maintained.
Main Responsibilities
The main focus of this role is outdoor campground maintenance and cleaning. Duties may include:
- Grass cutting, trimming, and weedwacking throughout the campground
- General landscaping, watering flowers, raking, site cleanup, and outdoor upkeep
- Cleaning washrooms, showers, common areas, campsites, fire pits, and garbage/recycling areas
- Collecting garbage and helping keep the park tidy
- Assisting with maintenance tasks, repairs, setup, and seasonal projects
- Moving picnic tables, fire rings, supplies, and other campground equipment
- Performing some heavy lifting as needed
- Helping prepare sites for incoming campers
- Completing evening checks and reporting any issues to management
- Supporting the store/office when needed, including guest check-ins, answering questions, basic reservations, cash/POS transactions, stocking shelves, and serving customers
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work hard
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to do physical work, including lifting, bending, walking, grass cutting, and cleaning
- Comfortable using or willing to learn basic equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Friendly and respectful with guests, staff, and seasonal campers
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision
- Flexible with duties — campground work changes day to day
- Available to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and busy summer periods
Requirements
- Previous campground, landscaping, maintenance, cleaning, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be physically able to perform outdoor labour and cleaning duties
- Must be dependable and willing to be part of a team
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset
