Responsibilities:
- Manage Moves from Start to Finish: Oversee all aspects of the moving process, ensuring a smooth and efficient move for our clients.
- Train and Lead Team Members: Provide training and guidance to swampers, helping them develop their skills and perform at their best.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Lead by example in the physical aspects of the job, ensuring trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.
- Packing: Expertly pack and secure items for transport to minimize damage and ensure safe delivery.
- Load and unload goods onto/from the truck with care and efficiency.
- Drive the Truck: Safely operate the moving truck to and from client locations.
- Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of all items being moved, ensuring nothing is lost or damaged.
- Truck Maintenance: Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the moving truck.
- Priority Management: Ensure moves are completed within the estimated timeframe, and develop solutions to meet these goals when challenges arise.
- Damage Prevention: Implement best practices to prevent damage to clients' belongings during the move.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
- Clean driving record and experience driving large vehicles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Minimum 2 Years Moving Experience*
- Also seeking a foreign worker with a Q endorsement.
