Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety professional to oversee and promote a secure working environment across our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across all departments
- Provide training sessions to educate employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper equipment use
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
- Collaborate with management to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies
- Promote a safety-first culture by encouraging open communication about safety concerns and suggestions
Experience
- Proven experience in workplace safety, health, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey safety information to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards is highly desirable
- Ability to assess hazards accurately and develop appropriate solutions
- Prior experience in conducting training sessions or safety audits is advantageous
