We are currently looking for a SAS Programmer to join our Biometrics team. You want to contribute to research activities? You are dynamic and have good interpersonal skills? You have strong communication skills? This position is for you! Do not hesitate, send us your resume immediately.

Main responsibilities:
  • Perform the programming, quality control, testing, and documentation of programs for use in creating statistical outputs (TLFs), and analysis datasets;
  • Perform the quality control, testing, and documentation of transfer files for internal and external clients (e.g. SDTM, ADaM, Define-XML);
  • Reviews TFLs and SAS programs to ensure quality of deliverables;
  • Provides technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients, and independently bring project solutions to the Biometrics team and other departments;
  • Perform and plan the development, implementation and validation of new process technologies, macros and applications;
  • Understand timelines and milestones affecting their work;
  • Analyzes existing processes and explores improvement solutions;
  • Stay aware of regulatory guidelines and maintain computer programs and processes to be compliant;
  • Ability to interact with other staff members in order to understand and explain correctly and with accuracy the SAS programs, the data analyses and the application of software;
  • Implement programming specifications, as appropriate;
  • Estimate programming scope of work and assist in communicating project status.
Desired profile:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mathematics or statistics combined with 4 years of experience or Master Degree with 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS Graph, SAS Macro, and ODS RTF:
  • Knowledge of statistics, programming and/or clinical drug development process;
  • Knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements; i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines;
  • Exhibits routine and occasionally complex problem solving skills;
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects, under supervision;
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
  • SAS, Microsoft Office
