Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer/Property Services Assistant to support various maintenance, landscaping and construction projects. This role involves hands-on work across different property and outdoor environments, requiring physical stamina and a proactive approach. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - ON THE JOB TRAINING IS PROVIDED; however, the ideal candidate will possess a range of skills including gardening, horticulture, mechanical knowledge, and experience with hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to year-round property upkeep and improvement while gaining valuable experience in property care and maintenance.
What we do
- Home Checks & Security: Interior/exterior checks, mail retrieval, and system monitoring (plumbing, heating, comms, electrical) with photo evidence after every visit.
- Full-Service Lawn Care: Mowing, premium fertilizer, irrigation adjustments, weed control, aeration, dethatching, and overseeding.
- Grounds & Garden Maintenance/Installations: Weed control, pruning, hedge trimming, mulching, seasonal cleanups, greenwaste disposal, installations.
- Handyman Services: Off season renovations including drywall installation and repair, fine finishing, assembly, installations and more.
- Property Washing: Comprehensive exterior cleaning, including moss removal, gutters, and windows.
- Irrigation Install & Repair: System design, spring start-ups, winterization, zone repairs, and smart timers.
- Spa & Hot Tub Maintenance: Water testing, chemical balancing, filter cleaning, and drain/refills.
- Snow Removal: Plowing, shovelling, and salting for driveways and walks.

Responsibilities
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, mowing, pruning, and irrigation system installation or repair
- Operate equipment including excavators, power tools, and hand tools to perform maintenance or construction duties
- Support garden and horticultural activities by maintaining plant health and appearance
- Perform general property maintenance including cleaning, repairs, and minor construction work
- Help with installation of irrigation systems and other outdoor infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections of property for safety hazards or maintenance needs
- Assist team members with heavy lifting, material transport, and site preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or general property maintenance is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance practices is desirable
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with hand tools and power tools is beneficial
- Background in construction or related trades will be advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
