JOB DESCRIPTION
You will deliver IKEA furniture and panels to customers in the area, working in teams of two — a driver and a delivery assistant. Deliveries are made either to the customer's door or inside the home (to the threshold), depending on the order requirements.
Drivers operate and maintain a 26-foot electric cube van. Days average 6 to 12 hours, depending on the route and the volume of the load. This is a physical and hands-on job, with a consistent daily route and a teammate by your side.
SALARY
Drivers: $220/day
Delivery Helpers: $170/day
Pay per load
Paid every two weeks, every other Friday
Paid training
SCHEDULE
5 to 6 days per week — full-time only, no part-time positions
Operations Monday to Sunday
Weekend availability required
Shift starts between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., according to the assigned schedule
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Class 3 driver's license (Quebec)
Previous experience driving a cube van or delivering furniture
Minimum age 23 (fleet insurance requirement)
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Available to work weekends
Comfortable with the physical demands of furniture delivery
Reliable transportation to get to Beauharnois daily
