The Windsor Hotel and The Stratford Hotel – Stratford, Ontario
Hoco Hotels is seeking experienced, detail-oriented, and reliable Guest Room Attendants to join our team at The Windsor Hotel and The Stratford Hotel in Stratford.
This role is ideal for candidates who take pride in their work, thrive in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment, and consistently deliver high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Schedule Requirements
This role requires full schedule flexibility, as shifts may vary weekly and may include:
- AM Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Mid Shift: 10/11:00 AM – 6/7:00 PM
Weekend and holiday availability is required. Full-time positions average approximately 37.5–40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean and service checkout rooms within allocated time standards
- Make beds to hotel standards (both triple sheeting and duvets)
- Clean, dust, and sanitize all guest room surfaces and bathrooms
- Replace linens, towels, and restock all in-room amenities
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean tile surfaces
- Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts
Housekeeping Operations
- Complete deep cleaning tasks as assigned
- Clean windows, walls, and other detailed surfaces
- Maintain the cleanliness of service areas and storage spaces
- Accurately document and report lost and found items
- Record and track work assignments as required
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues and report as needed
Guest & Team Interaction
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently
- Support other departments as needed
- Work collaboratively to maintain a strong team environment
- Maintain consistent attendance and reliability
Qualifications & Requirements
- 1–2 years of hotel housekeeping experience in a fast-paced boutique or luxury hotel
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English)
- Must be available for all shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs without assistance
- Valid Canadian work authorization (no sponsorship available)

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18.60 – $20.60 per hour (based on experience)
- Annual Retention Bonus: Available after 12 months of successful employment
