Full Time Production Assistant
Full Time Sauce Preparation and Production Line Worker in Sauce Factory
Reports To
The Production Assistant will report to and be trained by the Operations Manager, QA, and Production Supervisor.
Job Overview
Employee will assist in preparing, scaling ingredients, and cooking various ingredients for sauces. Once the sauce is completed, the employee will work on a jar fill line, aiding in filling jars, assisting with machinery as need, packing jars, and stacking cases. The employee will help pick and wrap orders for shipments and will receive various inventories into the facility. This position is optimal for someone looking to grow with a dynamic company who takes pride in every step of sauce manufacturing. Responsibilities and Duties of Production Assistant
· Prepare all ingredients safely and accurately daily to ensure sauce is ready for filling.
· Transition to filling jars with finished goods and will perform the required line tasks including: unloading empty jars onto the bottle line, labelling jars, and packing jars into finished cases and onto a skid.
· Prepare finished cases for shipments, and will perform various warehouse duties including picking orders and receiving raw materials/packaging.
· Daily cleaning & sanitation of the facility which can include; preparation equipment/tools, scrubbing and mopping floors, fridges, freezers, warehouse, and all applicable machinery.
Qualifications
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods of time.
· Preferred WHMIS certified and Food Safety Training or be willing to be trained as needed
· Preferred two years of experience in a kitchen environment, production environment, warehouse environment.
· Candidate must be willing to commit to a full time position
· Must be on-time daily
· Kitchen and warehouse safety is key for this position

· Job Type: Full-time
· Salary: $20.00 per hour
· Hours: 40hrs per week Minimum. Monday-Thursday with the occasional Friday.
· Shift: 6am or 8am Start time pending business needs.
