About the Role
This is an opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented construction professional to take ownership of project delivery at Absolute Contracting.
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects; on time, on budget, and to the quality and safety standards our reputation is built on. You'll coordinate closely with your Project Coordinator and Construction Superintendent in the field, while managing the client, design consultants, and key supply chain stakeholders. As the primary representative of Absolute to the client, you'll ensure every interaction reflects our standards of professionalism and quality.
This role calls for strong leadership and project management capability, including the ability to coach and develop the team, along with sound financial and contractual judgement to manage risk, cost, and schedule across multiple stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
Planning & Scheduling: Plan projects and prepare project schedules, construction methodologies, and coordinate work with the project stakeholders.
Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Source and procure subcontractors and suppliers.
Document Control & Project Communication: Oversee document control and ensure communication flows smoothly between stakeholders.
Financial Management: Manage cost estimates and bids, invoicing, and payment approvals for your assigned projects.
Quality & Compliance: Coordinate project start-up activities and oversee quality, safety, and code compliance across your projects.
Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary representative of Absolute to the client, resolving issues promptly and providing regular progress updates.
Team Leadership & Coaching: Train, develop, and coach your project team, setting clear expectations and supporting morale.

What you'll bring
Required
- 5+ years of experience in project management within a construction environment, delivering multi-million dollar projects on time and on budget.
- Strong knowledge of contracts and procurement, with the ability to manage financial and contractual risk.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and cost forecasting.
- Strong leadership capability, with proven experience developing people, setting clear expectations, and fostering accountability across both field and office teams.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, with sound judgement under pressure.
- Proficiency with Procore or comparable project management software.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational ability across multiple concurrent projects.
- Personal drive, initiative, and resourcefulness.
- Positive attitude, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
Preferred
- Experience across a mix of residential and commercial construction (not required, but an asset).
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered).

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
