Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Retail Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and safety guidelines
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Ensure proper medication storage, labeling, and documentation in compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient adherence to prescribed therapies and offer guidance on medication management
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions
- Educate patients on health topics, including medication administration and disease prevention
- Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards
Experience
- Knowledge of Kroll Software
- Strong background in patient care, medical terminology, and medication administration
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
- Certification as a licensed Pharmacist is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with industry standards
Pay: $41.56-$50.00 per hour
