Job Overview
Our busy cardiology clinic in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented and professional HR Coordinator to support daily human resources and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee support within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
- Prepare employment offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Track employee credentials, certifications, and required compliance documents
- Assist with payroll administration (employee changes, benefits)
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries
- Support performance reviews, employee relations, and engagement initiatives
- Assist with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare HR reports and support ongoing HR projects
Qualifications
Required:
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR or administrative experience
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
- CPHR designation or working toward certification
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or scheduling systems
