Reporting to the Manager of Health Information, the Accommodation Services Clerk will provide assistance to CEHHC in revenue generation and provide support and assistance to the patients for the Patient Entertainment System (Bedside Entertainment Computer System Terminals). Cross training with Switchboard is required.
Successful completion of Grade XII or equivalent required
Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent required
Successful completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course is required
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and Outlook and Explorer, as well as Meditech computer training and experience is required.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; must be an effective team player
Marketing and / or Education background would be considered an asset
Related hospital exposure in an applicable setting required
Current WHMIS certification required
Recent NVCI training / certification considered an asset
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for this position
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours of Work
Long assignment part-time (70%) position; 49 hours biweekly
Beginning June 5, 2022 with an expected end date of June 5, 2023
Dates are approximate and subject to change
Schedule will include evening and weekend shifts
Holiday shift coverage is required
Ability to work rotational shifts required
$20.09 - $21.90 hourly
