Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret structural drawings
- Coordinate daily work with project managers, supervisors and other trades
- Ensure work is completed safely and on schedule
- Conduct daily Safety meetings and maintain site documentation
- Establish a positive attitude to less experienced or new Ironworkers
- Conduct and maintain a professional relationship with clients, inspectors and general contractors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6-10 years of structural steel erection experience
- Minimum 3-5 years in a role as a Foreman or a Lead hand role
- Strong knowledge of structural steel erection methods and sequencing
- Ability to read erection drawings and Architectural blueprints
- strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to Safety
- Strong organization and problem solving abilities
Certificates:
- Valid Driver's license
