Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Writer to join our automotive garage repair team. The Service Writer acts as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle check-in to completion. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and accurately document their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Prepare detailed repair orders and communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Upsell additional services or repairs based on customer needs and vehicle condition
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule repairs efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, timelines, and costs effectively
- Maintain thorough knowledge of shop services and warranty policies
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
