Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and billing
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food handling, serving, cashiering, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local laws)
