We are looking for a versatile and reliable team member, who can contribute to our Ice Delivery, Production and Warehouse operations.
This person would be responsible for safely operating a 5-tonne commercial truck and actively assisting with ice production and warehouse operations. The role includes ensuring timely deliveries within out local distribution network, bagging ice and loading and unloading cargo, packing frozen products, basic maintenance checks and overall general warehouse upkeep.

Position:
Schedule: 36-40 hours/week.
Types of shifts include;
- Full weekday shift - Mon - Fri from approx. 7am till 4pm
- Saturday – occasional mornings
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a valid driver’s license with minimum of 3 years driving experience and a clean driving (preference given to D-license or greater)
- Prior warehouse experience, including loading and unloading cargo, preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to actively handle product with appropriate equipment and work in a freezer with appropriate clothing.
- Can organize their delivery routes and maximize time when working alone.
- Has an outgoing personality and a passion for exceptional customer service
- Demonstrates good written and verbal skills; tact, diplomacy, professionalism and courtesy
- Will adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and relevant transportation regulations.
- Forklift Certification an asset
Responsibilities include:
· Ice Production
- Bagging cocktail ice (9lb and 20lb bags) in a cooler - proper attire provided – handling product and performing quality checks.
- Harvest carving ice blocks in warehouse
· Warehouse Support
- Actively participate in warehouse tasks including loading and unloading cargo, verifying inventory accuracy, and maintaining proper storage of goods.
- Pick orders for our pick and pack division.
- Assist team members with the assembly and organizing furniture orders
- Assist with other duties within the warehouse when needed
· Truck Operation:
- Delivering ice products using company vehicles
- Perform vehicle inspection and maintain accurate logs and reports per MTO standards
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on the truck, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
- Unload any returns and ensure the proper communication of information
· Customer Service
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, addressing any concerns and ensuring timely delivery.
- Unloading, restocking, rotating customer freezers with ice products
- Performing basic freezer maintenance tasks (with training)
- Increase customer loyalty through excellent service and assisting in resolving concerns
- Assist our Cottage Culture division with delivery or occasion orders to private homes and commercial businesses
· Team Communication
- Maintaining daily knowledge of the schedule to meet shift requirements
- Share improvement ideas or concerns regarding workplace, product quality openly to management.
