Our company is looking for a skilled Janitorial Cleaner to join our growing team. This will be an afternoon shift between 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The ideal candidate possesses a blend of technical skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal abilities. We're seeking a candidate who takes pride in their work, respects the spaces they clean, and contributes positively to the overall atmosphere of the environment they serve.
The successful candidate must complete a police background check to meet security requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed
- Manage routine upkeep of interior areas
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- Gather and empty trash
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
Skills/Abilities:
- Janitorial experience is considered as asset
- Willingness to work afternoon shifts
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Capacity to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in environment with stairs
- Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds as necessary
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Must be able to complete a police background check to meet security requirements.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
