We are looking for an experienced Breakfast Line Cook to join our East Vancouver diner.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering approximately 40 hours per week at $25 per hour. Shifts are during the daytime, typically starting at 7:00 a.m. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare eggs, omelettes, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and hash browns during busy breakfast service
- Prepare burgers, sandwiches, fryer items and other lunch dishes
- Complete daily food preparation, portioning and restocking
- Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation
- Keep the cooking line, equipment and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow food-safety and sanitation standards
- Work closely with the chef and other kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Previous breakfast line-cooking experience is required
- Able to prepare multiple egg orders quickly and correctly
- Reliable, punctual and available for early-morning and weekend shifts
- Able to remain organized during busy service
- Comfortable completing both cooking and preparation duties
- Must maintain a clean workstation and work well with others
