Kelowna Chev is looking for a Journeyman Automotive Technician. Here at Kelowna Chev, we care about our employees, our customers, and our community!
We have a FULLY Air Conditioned shop and offer profit sharing!!
We have the work to make you the hours! If you are a top shelf technician, expect to make +225 hours in our busy service department! We are constantly pushing for growth and implementing new processes that increase efficiency and profitability. Our growth is currently restricted by the needs of a journeyman technician to be able to satisfy our customers needs and requests.

A suitable candidate will:
- perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as outlined by General Motors and dealership standards
- diagnose specific owner concerns, determine what repairs are necessary, and what parts are required
- communicate effectively with service consultants in regards to vehicle and customer needs
- perform a high quality of work
- complete tasks right the first time
- work with existing technician team, coach younger and less experienced techs as needed
- maintain a clean work area
- use dealership-owner tools and equipment responsibly
- provide a driver’s abstract with no restrictions
This is a full-time position. Compensation will depend on skills and previous experience.
