Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, the Project Facilitator's main responsibilities include:

Organize, document and facilitate project activities
Supports Manager and Department in Facilities project delivery, project management and risk management mitigation
Lead low to medium complexity projects from design and implementation through to evaluation and close-out
Facilitate project and portfolio management reporting
Participate in education and support of the Hospital departments in Project Delivery principles and practices
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure outcomes are successfully achieved

Rate of Pay: $30.552 per hour - $38.190 per hour

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: 12 Months

Successful completion of a 3 year Diploma in Architectural Technology, or a combination of PMI, Interior Design, LEED AP, Construction Engineering Technology
Project Management Certificate, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED AP), National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) preferred
Minimum three (3) years recent, project related experience preferably in a health care setting
Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
Proficient planning and evaluation skills
Proficient facilitation skills including consensus building and problem solving
Demonstrated proficient project management, resource planning and performance measurement skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Demonstrated change management, financial management and negotiation skills
Knowledge of local and regional health care system
Demonstrated proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships
Proficient ability to problem solve and make decisions
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:
Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step)
