Painter Helper – Job Description
1. Assist painters with interior and exterior painting projects.
2. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling holes or cracks.
3. Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking materials.
4. Mix and prepare paints, primers, and other materials.
5. Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and supplies.
6. Set up and clean work areas before and after each project.
7. Assist with ladder and scaffold setup and follow safety procedures.
8. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes under the supervision of a painter.
9. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
10. Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
