Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Convenience Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and cash handling
- Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Oversee POS systems, pricing strategies, and purchasing activities to optimize profitability
- Manage administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and record keeping
- Implement marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and sales
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain positive customer relations
- Conduct regular store inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are met
Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or convenience store environments
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management principles
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and pricing strategies
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams and managing staff performance
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for diverse customer interactions
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
