We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Adhere to health regulations and maintain food safety standards throughout the cooking process.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
