Pacific Coast Distribution, with a warehouse in Calgary, is looking for an experienced freight broker who wants to grow their own book of business inside a fast-growing brokerage.
This role is for someone who understands that success in brokerage comes from sales, relationships, and execution. You’ll be responsible for developing customers, closing freight opportunities, and managing your own shipments, with support from our team as you scale.

Salary is based on experience and is negotiable. Salary is a base PLUS commission so the range is not inclusive. Your success determines your commissions earned in addition to the base salary.
What You’ll Do
- Build, grow, and manage shipment deliveries from our warehouse
- Develop long-term relationships with PCD customers by providing excellent service
- Run and manage your own loads end-to-end (with support from our team)
- Work with a variety of equipment
- Source and work with carriers to cover freight reliably
- Maintain excellent communication with customers throughout the shipment lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in 3PL logistics and geographical area of Alberta and into BC
- A strong desire and ability to build solid client connections with PCD customers
- Solid understanding of freight brokerage and transportation markets
- Knowledge of equipment types (dry van, reefer, flatbed, etc.)
- Self-motivated, accountable, and relationship-focused
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible schedule to accommodate deliveries, potentially short notice shipments as well.
