Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team, Focusing on Fitting. This role involves fabricating, welding, and assembling Structural Steel components for various projects, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Utilize calipers, power tools, and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions.
- Rigging and lifting heavy components using cranes or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Fabricate structural assemblies, or custom parts according to project specifications.
- Conduct basic machining operations as needed for component fitting and assembly.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into final products or systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, schematics, and blueprint reading is essential.
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, plasma cutting, and machining is preferred.
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment proficiently.
- Experience working on construction projects.
- Knowledge of schematics, assembly procedures, and math skills for precise fabrication work.
- Prior experience operating forklifts or cranes is advantageous. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in welding and fabrication to contribute to complex projects within a professional manufacturing environment.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
