Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Operator to join our team in the seafood processing industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of food products, particularly within the seafood sector. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, knowledge and compliance with TSBC regulations. This is a full-time permanent position.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Detailed record keeping of freezer metrics
- Understanding protocols if ammonia detection alarms sound
- On-going review/assessment of freezer and refrigeration system for maintenance and repairs as needed
- Working production line as time permits
- Weight Handling: up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Certifications: Refrigeration Plant Operator (RPO) or equivalent
Prior plant experience is an asset but NOT necessary.
Language: Basic English level for communication
