Clarke Electric is looking for an Electrical Service Coordinator to support and organize our day-to-day service operations.
For over 45 years, Clarke Electric has provided industrial and commercial electrical services across Ontario. The Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of incoming service requests, scheduling technicians, supporting the service team, and helping ensure work is completed efficiently and communicated clearly to our clients.
This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, communicates well under pressure, and understands the pace and demands of electrical service work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and manage incoming service calls, work requests, and client inquiries
- Coordinate and schedule electricians for service calls, emergency work, and small project work
- Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Foreman to prioritize work based on urgency, manpower, and client needs
- Maintain daily schedules and adjust quickly as priorities change
- Open, track, and close service work orders in our service management system
- Review technician notes, labour hours, and materials to support accurate billing and job costing
- Follow up with clients regarding scheduling, updates, and job completion
- Assist with service quotations by gathering information, preparing documentation, and supporting the estimating process
- Coordinate material orders and supplier communication for service-related work
- Ensure service documentation, site reports, and customer sign-offs are complete and properly filed
- Support recurring preventative maintenance scheduling and contract tracking
Qualifications
- Previous experience in service coordination, dispatching, project coordination, or administrative support within electrical, construction, HVAC, mechanical, or industrial service environments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Clear and professional communication skills with both clients and field staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where schedules can change quickly
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable reviewing work orders, labour entries, and service documentation
- Experience with service software, scheduling platforms, or ERP systems is an asset
- Basic understanding of electrical service work or construction processes is considered a strong asset

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
