As the Manager, Construction Engineering, you will provide project management, engineering expertise and advice to clients and staff to develop reliable and professional water and wastewater systems. Works collectively with other corporate divisions to support and participate in initiatives targeted at securing new clients.
To qualify, you will have:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar discipline
- Professional Engineer status (P.Eng) or A.Sc.T and Limited Member license or Restricted Engineering License
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
In addition to the above qualifications, the job requires 8 years of progressively more responsible experience in the following areas for incumbents holding a P.Eng degree or 12 years of progressively more responsible experience in the following areas for incumbents who are Technologists holding a diploma:
- Design and cost estimating
- Construction supervision
- Tendering; RFPs, agreement and contract administration
- Preparation and revision of specifications, special provisions and terms of reference
- Project Management
- Budget management and preparation
- People management
- Risk management and risk response planning
Special Requirements: The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check and Drug and Alcohol test. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license is required.
