Overview
Rockstella Stonery is a fabricator of stone surfaces such as granite kitchen countertops, foreplace surrounds etc. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform repetative operations
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect finished products for quality control.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with management teams to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the production area.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experiance in granite shop would be considered an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and processes.
- Knowledge of CAD software for interpreting designs.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring equipment for precise work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.61-$26.08 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
