As a Lead Aggregate Quality Control Technician, You Will:
Be responsible for QC lab and QC reporting for multiple sites
Possible Drone pilot training and surveying for inventory purposes
Conduct laboratory and field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures
Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
Perform field quality control testing (Material Sampling)
Examine the sample provided and write/advise any discrepancy on test and field reports
Participate in activities related to the quality system
Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
Post-secondary education in a Civil Engineering or related technical field considered an asset
Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality an asset
Good background of aggregate use in road building, concrete and asphalt production, an asset
CCIL Type C and Type H certifications an asset
Excellent communications skills
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Valid G Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
Available to work days, evenings, and weekend shifts as assigned
