About the Role
As a Mobility & Seating Sales Consultant, you will guide clients through the full purchasing journey for mobility and accessibility equipment. From initial assessment to final fitting and follow-up, you will ensure each solution is tailored to the client’s functional needs, environment, and goals.
You will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, caregivers, and facility staff to deliver the right equipment — whether that’s manual or power wheelchairs, scooters, seating systems, lifts, or home accessibility products.
This is a relationship-focused, field-based role that blends sales, technical knowledge, and hands-on adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation & Equipment Solutions
- Assess client needs in collaboration with therapists and caregivers
- Recommend appropriate mobility and seating solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and trials
- Perform minor adjustments and fittings to ensure proper comfort and function
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to delivery and follow-up
Relationship Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, long-term care facilities, hospitals, retirement homes, and community organizations
- Expand referral networks and generate new business opportunities
- Stay informed on new products, funding programs, and industry developments
Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new leads
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Maintain accurate documentation within CRM systems
- Represent the company at industry events and community outreach initiatives
Mobility & Travel
- Travel within the assigned territory to client homes and care facilities
- Transport and demonstrate equipment as needed
What You Bring
Industry or Clinical Experience
- Experience in mobility equipment sales, seating and positioning, or accessibility solutions
OR
- Background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Kinesiology, or Long-Term Care and looking to transition into a consultative sales role
Relationship-Driven Approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly
- A genuine desire to enhance independence and quality of life for clients
Sales & Problem-Solving Skills
- Comfortable managing a pipeline and pursuing new business opportunities
- Ability to assess needs and present tailored solutions
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
Technical & Administrative Skills
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable handling equipment and performing minor mechanical adjustments
Additional Requirements
- Valid G-class driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Clean criminal background check
