P3 Panel Company is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Check Inspector (Internal Framing Inspector) to join our team. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality in the installation of our wall panels, trusses, and other structural components. The successful candidate will perform regular inspections, create and maintain checklists, and address any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilization & Demobilization Checklists:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive checklists for mobilization and demobilization processes onsite.
- Verify site readiness and compliance with safety and quality standards before beginning work and after completing a project.
- Quality Checklists:
- Create and implement detailed quality checklists for various stages of the installation process, including wall panels, trusses, and other structural components.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and customer expectations.
- Document and report any deviations from quality standards, and oversee corrective actions.
- Proactive Issue Resolution:
- Identify potential quality issues and address them proactively, ensuring everything is right before the customer informs us.
- Collaborate with the construction and production teams to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
- Expert Installation Oversight:
- Utilize your expertise in framing and construction to provide guidance and support to the installation team.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality of installation work and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional results and addressing any concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in framing and construction, with a strong understanding of standard lumber dimensions and grading.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed checklists and inspection reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues proactively.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well with others and provide constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of provincial workplace health and safety standards.
- Physical ability to perform inspections, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
