Peter Pan Bistro looking to bring on a new General Manger for our restaurant operation. You will join a team of motivated professional managers running the FOH.
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Restaurant.
This role is intended for someone who is entrepreneurial, self motivated and able to manage independently. Leading by example, creating a positive, healthy and educational work environment are the core of our values. Previous management is required as well a professional wine background and buying experience.
You will report directly to owner and work along side ownership and all other management.
- Managing and supervising all staff members, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. That the employee handbook is being adhered to.
- Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborating with other departments(kitchen, events, accounting and ownership) to ensure smooth operations
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Purchasing, structuring and educating the wine and beverage program.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience as Management in fine dining restaurant
- Stong wine knowledge with experience purchasing and curating a wine list
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
