Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a vital part of our management team, the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the culinary staff in creating outstanding dining experiences for our guests. As the Sous Chef you will also be involved in inventory management, scheduling, and ordering. Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, scheduling, ordering and inventory management.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
- Support team management by training new staff, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment
- Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to guests
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices across the kitchen
- Serve as a leader during service hours, stepping in to handle customer requests or resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive restaurant management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to serve guests professionally
- Prior kitchen experience in hospitality or related food industry roles is highly desirable
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
