We are seeking a part-time psychotherapist to join our team at Renew Psychotherapy, located in Ottawa. As a member of our dedicated group of psychotherapists and clinical psychologists, you will provide psychotherapy services to adults. Ideal candidates will have experience working with clients who are struggling with mood disorders and psychological trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from injuries in motor vehicle accidents, operational stress or workplace injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual psychotherapy to adults based on provided psychological assessment findings and treatment recommendations.
- Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, BA, DBT, ACT, CPT, EMDR, and psychodynamic therapy.
- Integrate trauma-focused modalities such as CPT, EMDR, SE, and Prolonged Exposure into therapy sessions for trauma clients.
- Utilize pain management strategies/techniques for clients experiencing chronic pain.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress notes and comprehensive progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario in good standing.
- Clinical experience working with adults with depressive disorders, anxiety disorder, adjustment disorder, and PTSD.
- Experience with pain management techniques and strategies is an asset.
- Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team is an asset.
- Experience in case management to facilitate comprehensive client care.
- Must have liability insurance that meets CRPO requirements.

Pay: $50.00-$110.00 per hour
