If yes, we have an immediate opening for you. As a Recruiter and HR Assistant located at our Lloydminster facility, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment initiatives and providing general HR support to all Company departments.

As a Recruiter and HR Assistant you will:

  • Practice discretion and confidentiality of colleague information according to privacy and employment legislations and according to Foremost’s internal policies
  • Help to develop and lead the sourcing and recruitment and selection of high caliber candidates by leveraging a variety of sources and technology in the recruitment process
  • Recruitment planning conversations with appropriate hiring manager and stakeholders
  • Screening qualified candidates through resume review and phone screen
  • Create a candidate pipeline for future recruitment needs
  • Conducting reference checks and other pre-employment requirements, including verifying necessary trade tickets
  • Creating and sending accurate offer letters and/or contracts
  • Facilitates onboarding of new hires
  • Participate in various recruitment related information sessions and career fairs to enhance Foremost’s brand and promote career opportunities
  • Interprets and executes HR policies, processes and practices in accordance with the company's philosophy, throughout the entire employee life cycle
  • Provide general HR administrative Support as assigned
  • Other general duties as required

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • Working towards your CPHR would be considered and asset
  • A passion for full-cycle recruitment and selection
  • Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience with an HRM software would be considered an asset
  • Superior time-management and problem-solving skills
  • High level of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently
