Summary
We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in. This role is vital in ensuring safety standards are maintained across our operations, contributing to a secure and compliant work environment in the mining sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies tailored to mining equipment maintenance.
- Conduct safety training sessions for technicians and staff.
- Perform regular safety audits and inspections at job sites.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes.
- Ensure compliance with provincial safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
- Provide guidance on risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or similar role within the manufacturing or mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of provincial safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for training and reporting.
- Ability to conduct thorough safety audits and investigations.
- Relevant certifications such as OSHA or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience with safety management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $80,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
