The Maintenance Supervisor’s responsibility is to direct and coordinate night shift maintenance teams to ensure maximum operating efficiency in a safe, cost effective, and timely manner. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure repairs and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment is executed to minimize downtime.

  • Supporting, managing or implementing food safety and product quality standards.
  • Ensuring that on shift planned and unplanned work is completed and all required paperwork and data entry is completed.
  • Supporting plant sustainability goals for safety & the environment.
  • Identifying the training needs of team, ensuring their participation in appropriate training activities, and reinforcing subordinate's skill development with coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Managing all immediate maintenance activities of the facility on shift: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and boiler/refrigeration.
  • Ensuring that the Plant policies, procedures, and union contracts are administered and followed in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures to reduce downtime.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university, along with 3 years’ related experience.
  • Knowledge of C&I, PLC, electrical.
  • Ability to safely use and troubleshoot various types of hand tools, power tools, machinery, motors, vehicles, and other equipment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Results-oriented, team player with excellent supervisory and communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work the night shift.
