Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Corporate Services. This executive role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, expertise in corporate finance, risk analysis, and business development. The Director of Corporate Services will play a pivotal role in managing budgets, cost control, and investment strategies to support the organization’s growth and stability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct account reconciliation and maintain precise financial records
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks
- Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and support investment initiatives
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for growth
- Manage cost control initiatives to improve operational efficiency
- Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and financial forecasting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, or related financial services roles at a senior level
- Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, risk analysis, risk management, and investment strategies
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost management and business development opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA are preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Pay: $79,041.60-$186,608.24 per year
