Website and social media developer and maintenance technician
Tasks & Responsibilities
Be responsible for coordinating online marketing and promotion of the Pharmacy and Medical Clinics to both current and prospective customers and patients.
Update the Organization’s Websites and Social Media Platforms as needed.
Bulid and maintain online retail website.
Create informational, advertising and promotional materials relating to the Pharmacy and Clinic’s programs, services, and events Including formulating and editing Website Content, Social Media Posts, PowerPoint and Print Media Advertising.
Assist in the creation of social media marketing content on the Organization’s platforms, including websites and Facebook Pages.
Update the Organization’s Websites and Social Media Platforms as needed.
Institute practices that maximize SEO
Additional Duties
- provide support to end-user desktops and laptops including set-up, and ongoing maintenance.
- responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting desktop computer systems, hardware and peripherals, and management of local hardware (mobile devices, desktops, laptops, printers, and phone systems), inventory, etc.
- configure windows preferences and install Windows and security updates
- Identify system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, operating systems and applications
- Install and configure software and drivers
- Repair and upgrade hardware and software for PC systems
- Offer technical support and educate clients to prevent similar issues
- Network Troubleshooting
- Duties also include records management, reorganizing files, lifting equipment and files, and assisting in the admin management of the day-to-day operations. Scanning patient medical data as well as, administrative and financial documents for online storage and retrieval. Note: this position also requires a significant amount of clerical work.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will have excellent customer service skills with strong verbal, written, and listening skills with excellent and proven documentation skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, specifically as related to marketing/advertising.
Excellent word processing and graphic design skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with an ability to handle a variety of tasks in a timely manner.
An interest in working in a healthcare setting and a good understanding of the sensitivities, professionalism and confidentiality involved in working in the medical field.
Ability to work cooperatively with staff, professionals, physicians and patients
The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Bilingual English-French is an asset.
Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Knloledge of online retail and online security
Knowledge and experience working with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and an understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Experience in marketing or advertising with a strong focus on digital and/or social media
Able to articulate a compelling brand proposition and message it across all appropriate media entities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to interface with a variety of audiences
Self-motivated and thrive in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments.
Interest in Pharmacy and Healthcare is valued but experience in these fields is not required.
