Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in concrete formwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in construction supervision and a proven track record in overseeing concrete multifamily projects. This role is critical to ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from planning to post occupancy touch-ups
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control measures
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
- Conduct daily site inspections and weekly meetings to ensure project progress
- Communicate and coordinate effectively between trades, office, consultants and ownership
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Extensive experience in concrete construction is required
- Experience in multifamily construction projects is an asset
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Skills:
· Proficient with MS Office and Excel
· Taking uploading digital photos
· Proficient with Microsoft outlook
· Experience with Microsoft projects an asset but not a requirement
· Must have computer skills and effective typing, verbal, and written communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
